![]() * Our apps uses Windows 8.1 api, and are written in C++/CX we're using XAudio2 system from the beginning of Windows 8.0. * Recently we haven't changed Audio system code, so it works exactly like in other games, where everything is ok ![]() See if the Windows Update Troubleshooter solved the missing audio problem. Find 'Playing Audio' under 'Get up and running' and select it, click 'Run the troubleshooter' and follow the instructions. * Other of our games works fine on both systems, when we download them from Store. To start troubleshooting, go to Settings and type 'troubleshoot', select 'Troubleshoot' from the list. * We have quite a few games release earlier and they do not share this latest issue ![]() We suspect the game may become corrupted during upload to the store or when the download happens. We think this might be somewhat connected to the store button glitch as after downloading the game the button does not change from "install" to "play" but instead Happening at the same time are some "install/play" button glitches on the store app page.īoth games works well after installing them locally using powershell. Our newest applications are missing sound after installing them from windows 10 store (no problem on 8.1).
